Herrieden is situated in a favorable traffic location close to the Highway A6 (Nürnberg-Heilbronn) – Exit Herrieden, between the romantic route and the Franconian lake country, in the center of the city five corner section Rothenburg-Feuchtwangen-Dinkelsbühl-Gunzenhausen-Ansbach. Rothenburg - Feuchtwangen - Dinkelsbühl - Gunzenhausen - Ansbach.

Access Route Highway A6

Directly at the highway A6, between Nürnberg and Heilbronn, you will find the exit Herrieden (Number 51). The highway intersection Feuchtwangen/Crailsheim is ca. 20 km away. After leaving the highway, you still drive ca. 1,5 km toward Herrieden.

Access Route Highway A7

Take the A7 to the highway intersection Feuchtwangen/Crailsheim a turn onto the A6 toward Nürnberg from there. After ca. 20 km you get to the exit Herrieden. After leaving the highway, you still drive ca. 1,5 km toward Herrieden.

Access via Ansbach Train Station

Directly outside the DB travel center Ansbach, you find the central bus station. As a rule, there are hourly busses waiting there to take you to Herrieden. We recommend to inform yourself in advance, at the German train authority, about current schedules..
