At this point, we want to whisk you away a little into the history of our medieval little town.
No, you don't need to run packing now, the journey won't take long, besides, something was always going on in the old Herrieden und physical and spiritual well-being was well catered to.

First, we will show you the origin and roots of our town, starting with the nucleus then on to the name-giving and our town in defence and weapons, and then on to the medieval Herrieden. The latter, you can still conjure up by visiting our sights.

So, go ahead and take the plunge, the time machine is ready for you. Under The 20ties and The 30ties you can cast a glance at Herrieden life of ca. 1920-1930. Afterwards, there is a rather sinister time, The 30ties and 40ties, as well as The Post-war years with the economic wonder, which also reached Herrieden.
